Your dog isn't giving up.
The floor is.
GripHound Anti-Slip Grip Pads give your senior dog their footing back on hardwood and tile in about 5 minutes — no vet visit, just traction where it's needed most.
Loved by thousands of senior-dog owners.
It's not old age. It's the floor.
You've seen it: back legs splaying out on the kitchen tile, a hesitant pause at the top of the hallway, a walk cut short because the hardwood near the door feels too risky to cross. It's easy to read that as your dog slowing down. But paws that gripped carpet and grass for years can lose their footing on smooth, hard surfaces as nails wear down and pads change with age. The willingness to walk, play, and explore is still there — what's missing is just traction.
How it works
Peel
Peel the backing off a pad sized for your dog's paw.
Press
Press it onto a clean, dry paw pad and hold for a few seconds.
Watch them walk again
Feel the traction return instantly, right there on your floor.
Instant traction
The moment a pad is pressed on, your dog has grip on hardwood and tile again. There's no break-in period and nothing to get used to.
Most owners see their dog's stride change the same day.
Invisible & lightweight
Each pad is thin, low-profile, and barely noticeable once applied. Your dog moves naturally, without the bulk of a boot or brace.
No one will notice them — except how much steadier your dog looks.
Stays on — unlike socks
Socks slide, bunch, and get chewed off within minutes. GripHound adheres directly to the paw pad itself, so it stays put through play, walks, and naps.
Real traction lives at the paw pad, not around it.
Gentle & non-toxic
Formulated to be safe if licked and gentle on sensitive senior skin. No harsh chemicals, no irritation, no fuss.
Comfortable enough to forget they're even there.
Restores confidence for arthritic dogs
When a slip is less likely, dogs with arthritis or joint pain stop hesitating before every step. Steadier footing means less bracing, less strain, and more willingness to move.
Confidence on the floor often means confidence everywhere else, too.
Help your old friend walk confidently again.
What owners are saying
Take the measurement of your dog's paw — mine is a Labrador and I bought the XXL size, and it fit well. I cut each piece to make it more comfortable for him so it doesn't stick to his fur between the toes. We'll see how long each pad lasts.

I have a 16-year-old dog, and I was worried about the strain on his hind legs since they'd spread out to the sides on the floor. I couldn't put anti-slip mats all over the house, so I was struggling until I found this product. I wasn't sure of the size at first, but it worked better than I expected — the whole family was delighted! Since it's a sticker, I'm not sure about long-term durability, but the effect for the price is amazing. Highly recommended for owners of elderly dogs!

Excellent, highly recommend it! I bought the size M pack for my poodle — he's tiny, only 5kg, and they fit just right. I'll be ordering a size larger again for more comfort.

The adhesive strength is good — I bought these to help protect against hot asphalt, and it's a great product. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Will they stay on my dog's paws?
Yes. Each pad adheres directly to the paw pad itself, so it moves with your dog through walks, play, and naps instead of sliding off like a sock.
Are they safe for my dog?
GripHound pads are made to be gentle and non-toxic, including if licked. If your dog has a specific skin condition or allergy, we recommend checking with your vet first.
How long do they last?
Wear time varies with activity level and floor type, so keep an eye on grip and reapply a fresh pad once traction starts to fade.
How do I find the right size?
How to measure: have your dog stand on a sheet of paper and trace one front paw. Measure the length (tip of the longest toe to the back of the paw pad) and the width (widest point). If your dog falls between two sizes, size up — a slightly larger pad still grips well, but an undersized one won't cover the paw pad properly.
| Size | Paw Width × Length | Dog Weight |
|---|---|---|
| S | 1.3″ × 1.6″ (3.3 × 4.1 cm) | Up to 10 lbs |
| M | 1.5″ × 1.8″ (3.8 × 4.6 cm) | 11–20 lbs |
| L | 1.7″ × 2.0″ (4.3 × 5.1 cm) | 21–40 lbs |
| XL | 2.0″ × 2.3″ (5.1 × 5.8 cm) | 41–60 lbs |
| XXL | 2.3″ × 2.6″ (5.8 × 6.6 cm) | 61–90 lbs |
| XXXL | 2.6″ × 2.9″ (6.6 × 7.4 cm) | 90+ lbs |
Note for narrow-pawed breeds (Greyhounds, Whippets, Poodles, and similar): they often fit one size smaller than their weight alone would suggest.
